PLACEMENT: Temporary dumpster sites must be approved prior to placement. Following approval of the site, and items for disposal, the customer must prepay the dumpster rental and delivery fees and complete the application. Dumpsters may not be moved from the approved location except by District personnel. Moving to an unapproved location may result in removal of the dumpster and forfeiture of fees paid.
FEES: The monthly fee will not be prorated, for example, if the dumpster is delivered on February 1 and removed February 28, (kept for the entire calendar month) or delivered on February 15 and removed February 20, (used for 5 days during the calendar month), the cost is the same. Currently, the monthly rental fee is $246.01, the delivery charge is $20.00 and both must be paid in advance. To continue month-to-month usage, the new month's charges are due in the office by the 25th (see removal).
REMOVAL: On the 26th of the month, the District will automatically schedule the dumpster for removal on the LAST working day of the month if the customer has not prepaid the new month's rental fee. If continuous service is desired and the dumpster is scheduled for removal because of late payment, the account will be charged the re-delivery fee along with the monthly rental charge, even if the dumpster is still in place, and a new application will be required.
